The iJoy Ride is an exercise machine best kept at home because the chances are you, will feel a bit silly as you get tossed around like you’re on a bucking bronco. But whilst the iJoy Ride may rise a few smiles, and initally may make you laugh, this clever device is actually working hard to exercise three distinct muscle groups.

The pitching motion of the iJoy Ride will help tone your abs, the rolling motion will strengthen inner thighs and mid torsos,  and a yawing motion to work the mid lumbar. Scientists have looked at the workout derived from riding a horse and managed to pack it into this smart, ergonomic machine.  Have a look at the demo video below to see it in action:

The iJoy Ride is available online from Boots - the price at the time of writing is £391.47

At the time of writing, the Body Sculpture Power Trainer - BM1500 is the best selling vibration trainer on Amazon.co.uk. So what makes the BM1500 so popular?

Well, first of all, it has a very nice price point. RRP is £199.99 but can usually pick this model up with change from £150. If you’re just getting into vibration training, that’s a price which won’t leave your wallet shaking (see what we did there?)

The machine is well constucted and actually pretty simple to put together, and move about. It weighs 22kg and has transport wheels for moving around easily.

It has 10 different speed & intensity settings to choose from, and there three preset programmes for you to get started with.  All exercises are completed on short time frames (30 seconds, 60 seconds and 120 seconds) and the product comes with a full exercise chart to show you how to get the most out of your BM1500 vibration trainer and how to get the best results.

Of course for this money, you’re not going to get the horsepower of the trainer you’ll find at the local gym, but if you’re on a budget, you’ll find this to be a cost effective way to keep up a regular vibtration fitness regime at home.
